Bauhinia in full-bloom in Hanoi

Colorful Vietnam-Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups

Bauhinia is native to the northwestern region of Vietnam.

Each flower has four to six petals. Bright pink veins are visible on each petal.

Many tourists find their beauty and fragrance unforgettable…

…and, if you’re walking on Bac Son and Hoang Dieu streets, unmissable.

Bauhinia trees were first planted in Hanoi in the 1960s and have since become an indispensable part of the capital city.

Streets with bauhinia are also “check-in hotspots” by default.

If you see the capital city’s streets at this time of year glow with Bauhinia flowers’ soft pink and purple hues…

… you know spring is in full swing.
